Uttarakhand · Best: Apr–Nov
A valley walk below Swargarohini following the Tons river through Garhwali villages — Osla and Seema — whose carved wooden houses are centuries old. Gradients are gentle by Himalayan standards across the ~47 km round trip from Taluka.
It runs in two seasons, spring and autumn, and suits trekkers who want culture and valley scenery over pass-crossing drama. Late-autumn batches meet snow from Seema onwards.

A review rates five things
Every one of them is something a brochure can't tell you.
“I booked a 30-person batch. There were 72 of us on the trail. Nobody warned me — you can warn the next person.”
Five taps and a few honest lines — about two minutes.
