About Trekias
The personal version — the trek that started this →Trekias compares Himalayan trek organizers side by side: what each one charges, what their day-by-day itinerary says, how big their batches are, what is included, and what their cancellation terms are. Every number is traceable to the organizer's own public page, with the date we last read it.
Under each of those claims, the site shows what people who actually walked the route report. A claim and a report are never merged: what the organizer published stays exactly as they published it, and the ground report sits beside it.
It is built and run by one person, for trekkers trying to choose between twenty-plus organizers running the same five days.
We do not sell treks, and nobody can pay to rank higher. Every booking link goes straight to the organizer.
No commission, no listing fees, no payment from organizers of any kind. The only money involved today is the occasional Ko-fi tip from a reader. If that ever changes, it will be labeled in plain sight — on the methodology page and wherever it appears.
